1973 Chevy Camaro Discovered in the Desert
Just Two Gearheads Going to Vegas, What Could Possibly Happen?
Don’t worry, this Vegas trip ends on a good note – a very good note. In the Southwest deserts of the United States sat a true diamond in the rough. A Frenchman by the name of Gabriel Henaut found the sand-covered gem and polished it up to premium condition. The project: A 1973 Chevrolet Camaro. After some bargaining, shipping fees and a whole lot of spit-shine, the beast returned to France with Henaut where it was restored to its former glory.
The adventure began when Gabriel Henaut and his friend were traveling through the United States and stopped at a gas station. The small-town shop close by had several “oldies but goodies” laying around and one, in particular, stood out. While his interests usually piqued around Volkswagens and 4-cylinders, there was no way he was going to miss out on some cheap V8 American muscle.
After much time and energy, the result is a classic and beautiful rebuild. The 1973 Chevy Camaro now has traveled were most Mustangs never will, and was reborn to spread the American Dream. The following video from Petrolicious shows the prized find in its new home across the ocean.
