2018 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Prototypes Spied Testing In Michigan
The 2017 North American International Auto Show is yet to reveal the new with a mid-engine in January. The car is expected to have 700 horsepower from a tuned 6.2-liter supercharged V8. That in itself is just incredible. But, of course, beasts like these have been designed in such a way that they come with effective braking systems that keep them in check during high speeds.
In these spy videos, we see the front engine Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 gently cruising, The Red ‘Vette rumbles pleasantly while moving and is very similar to the ones in the previous videos. It comes with a lower front fascia with larger air intakes. It also features the wider front fenders and a bulge in the hood, possibly with a heat extractor.
Then we have the camouflaged convertible Chevrolet that shows up immediately passes. It also has the same concealments as the first coupe.
Lastly, we get to see one last coupe and examine its competence in the field. It features the smallest wing at the backing which seems to suggest that the larger aerofoil is not a part of the standard equipment. I tend to think that it’s a facility for an upgrade that is meant to launch the ZR1 to a whole new different level.
