A video of a high-flying Ranger Raptor is released by Ford.

The Ford Ranger – everyone remembers it, but not fondly. By the time it was discontinued in the US, the Ranger had deteriorated into an outdated box on wheels. After some studying abroad, however, the Ranger is poised for a comeback. At least in Australia, where they will soon be getting a new Ford Ranger Raptor.
Details aren’t in yet on the Ranger Raptor, but Ford did confirm it’s building it for the Asia-Pacific market. The company also uploaded a video of a camouflaged Ranger Raptor prototype catching some air.
Judging from the video, it looks like the Ranger Raptor will have capable off-road suspension, fender flares, and aggressive tires, much like its big brother, the F-150 Raptor.
Ford has announced the Ranger will return to the US in 2019. So far though, it has not committed to bringing the Raptor variant to the states. We can hope though, right?
Judging on this promo released by Ford, the Ranger has picked up some serious tricks since the last time we saw it stateside. Rest assured, this is not at all the Ranger you remember. If Ford ever decides to produce this Raptor variant in the U.S., we will most definitely be welcoming it with open arms.
