Hass/Serafini Racing – Compound Turbo Hayabusa! (Video)
We’re talking 564 hp and counting… This incredible motorcycle is the work of Don Hass and Steve Serafini. It’s the world’s first compound turbo Hayabusa, and their goal is to break 300 miles per hour in a standing mile on board this glorious machine. Built on top of a 2004 Suzuki , this land-speed ready beast has an output of 564 hp at 18 PSI, 285 ft-lb, and a dry weight of 680 lbs. The engine is said to be capable of up to 1000 hp, but right now it’s more than powerful enough. We’ll let the video do the rest of the talking…
They haven’t quite broken the 300 mph mark yet, but 223 mph is more than enough for testing. Even if it never makes 300 mph, we can’t help but marvel at this awesome machine, and the incredible amount of effort that has gone in to it.
