Meet The Quietest Tesla Model X In The World
And it’s from Bulgaria! Really, it is. Among a few cars in the country, famed Bulgarian interior specials got its hands on one and wanted to create the quietest Tesla ever. Yes, it sounds a bit funny. Tesla cars already do not produce much sound when moving. Yet, Vilner wanted to craft a bespoke cabin even quieter than what Tesla Motors could do.
And they started with the dismantling process revealing the Tesla Model X internals. Some members of the team even noted that the Tesla Model X has great sound deadening hardware directly from the factory, but Vilner did improve it a bit. Adding sound deadening material in some areas of the floor and the cabin, they succeeded in further reducing sound levels when the car is moving.
Apart from making the Model X quieter, Vilner also did what it does best – luxed up the cabin to levels even Maybach and Mulliner would have a hard time matching. The owner also wanted a bit more “electric” feel in the cabin. Yes, the blue (actually turquoise) leather details found their way to the seats and the dash. Vilner even installed turquoise seatbelts which is definitely a cool touch.
Based on the Model X P90D, this Vilner makeover did not touch a lot on the exterior modifications. The car remained much the same with the carbon fiber kit. The only novelties include a carbon fiber finish on the front lip, mirror caps, and rear spoiler. And that is it.
All in all, this, one of a kind Tesla will join the other two Tesla cars the guy who commissioned Vilner for the job has.
