Ringbrothers Debut 986 HP 1966 Chevy Chevelle “Recoil”

When it comes to maximizing american muscle cars, no one does it like Ringbrothers. This year at SEMA they didn’t let us down with their 1966 Chevy Chevelle “Recoil” that displays nothing but pure muscle with all of its 986 horsepower.
This 66 Chevelle has a Whipple-supercharged Wegner Motorsports engine which pushes just shy of 1000 horsepower. Everything about it is custom, from the one of a kind fuel-rail covers which match the blower’s case of the Whipple supercharger. “Recoil” debuted at the Royal Purple booth so it obviously uses Royal Purple XPR Extreme Peformance Racing oil. Everything is kept flowing via an Aeromotive fuel cell and pump along with a Holley fuel injection system.
Blower reworked the Tremec T56 Magnum Tranny. The John’s Industries nine inch rear end gets receives its power from a Dynotech driveshaft.
The car actually receives it’s name from the new 3 piece forged HRE wheels that it’s sitting on, called “Recoil”. HRE also debuted these wheels at SEMA. The set under Recoil were 19×9 in the front wrapped with 275/35/19 tires and 20×13 with 345/30/20 in the back.
Though the focus went inside of the car, the exterior was perfectly done as to compliment and not take away from the beauty of the power. With carbon fiber in the bumpers, trunklid, dashboard, headliner, and hood. The Interior has aluminum trim and has been hydro-dipped to match the carbon fiber in the car.
Yet another knockout by the Ringbrothers with this 66 Chevy Chevelle. Can’t wait to see what they bring us next.
