The Harley Davidson “Stealth 750” Adventure Concept
Yes! You read that right, and that is certainly the correct image! Thanks to Indian automotive website Rushlane.com, we’ve been given a peek at the latest “Harley Davidson” concept, and doesn’t it look awesome? Combining a plastic body kit, a front fascia, a proper touring-inspired windshield, and a Street 750 motor, this machine has all the makings of a great Harley Davidson adventure bike – which seems a little incongruent, don’t you think?
If you push the weird lettering patterns on the body and tank to one side, it’s a good looking bike that ticks all of the adventure riding boxes. First off, the Stealth comes with a motocross suspension from Ohlins, a brand new aluminum tank with matching fenders, a custom built swing arm, a 12inch front and an 18 inch rear wheel, both shod with hardy, dirt riding tires. It also comes with a custom exhaust and LED lights too. Now, the downside might be that it’s been built around the Harley Davidson Street 750 platform, which came with more than a few issues – but for the most part, those problems have been solved and for Harley, a 750 engine is perfect for this kind of platform.
Before you get too excited though, we should probably mention that this is only a concept, and that it’s not an official Milwaukee prototype – it’s still very much Harley Davidson and the company are aware of it, but we doubt that means anything. After being unveiled at the Bangkok Motor Show, it’s received a positive reaction and we know that motorcycle companies generally listen to what the public want!
Well, they listen, run with an idea but when it comes to actual production, they tend to let us down at the last minute. But here, I think should take a gamble. A proper adventure bike from them would be well received, we imagine. What do you think? Let us know in comments!
