The New 2018 Jeep Wrangler is a Highly-Customizable Dreamboat
Here Is What We Know…
A press release put out by FCA confirms that the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler is going to be a good one. FCA claims the newest Wrangler will come with “dozens of different door, top, and windshield combinations.” While details are scarce, rumors are flowing amply. Engine types have been said to range from a turbocharged 4-cylinder to a hybrid, and even a turbodiesel. Images have been released as teasers, but we are gearing up to get a full disclosure when Jeep announces the dirty details at the LA Auto Show in December.
As per usual, there will be a ridiculous number of accessories available for the 2018 Wrangler. This year the SEMA show is being used to highlight the 2018’s lights, mounts, racks, jacks, and packs that are already available, even though the new Wrangler isn’t yet. FCA has promised us more open-air action, more options, and more accessories this year. Jeep designers are keeping it classic, and leaving all iconic headlights and grilles and the general box shape in place. We have been told that it will be more aerodynamic, which no Jeep lover can really argue with being beneficial.
Inside, we are told we will find better security, safety, and technology. With exciting entertainment systems being produced in other FCA vehicles, there is hope for a pro-grade navigation system, incredible sound system options, and even more interior versatility. By the look of things, we will not be disappointed. This very well may be the most customizable Wrangler to date, and we’re excited to see these beauties prowling the pavement and dirt trails alike.
